Further to the social prescribing meeting with Third Sector partners earlier this year, a follow-up workshop for interested parties is to be hosted on 5th September 2016.
From EVOC’s website:
“At this follow-up workshop to our first meeting in May, we will explore the proposal for an Edinburgh Model of Link-Working. A copy of the draft report introducing the concept will be emailed beforehand to everyone signed-up for the event. We will be joined by SW Edinburgh Interim Locality Manager, David White to help take attendees through the work and there will be café style discussions to help feed into finalising the report.”
This will be an opportunity to hear about where social prescribing ideas are heading in the City of Edinburgh.
Details about a model for the city using link workers to support citizens move between statutory and Third Sector health and social care services will be discussed.
