Regular meetings for service and project managers at health projects within the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians.
At meetings members can:
- share knowledge about health inequalities in Edinburgh
- discuss new local wellbeing initiatives
- give consideration to partnerships and collaborative opportunities
- share best practice and management experience
- offer peer support to other health initiatives
- enjoy the chance to network
All this work is grounded in a community development approach to tackling health inequalities in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Free training for managers and service delivery staff relevant to community development practitioners making an impact on health inequalities.
Workshops and sessions have included Mental Health First Aid, alcohol awareness, service evaluation, social media and more.
Training events are planned and co-produced by members with partners across the Third Sector, NHS and City of Edinburgh Council.
