The Life Changes Trust is inviting applications to join the second phase of the Dementia Friendly Communities programme.
Projects and ideas are sought to find innovate ways to support dementia sufferers and unpaid carers across Scotland.
Several different funding structures are open as follows:
1. £150,000 over three years with a requirement for 10% minimum match-funding or in-kind contribution.
2. £225,000 over three years with a requirement for 33% minimum match funding or in-kind contribution.
3. £35,000 over one year with a requirement for a 10% minimum in-kind contribution.
How to apply
Looking over the application form, there is also the opportunity to apply as a consortium of organisations, which may interest some Forum members.
Online applications will open in 2017, but all the guidance notes and application forms have been made available now by the Life Changes Trust at http://www.lifechangestrust.org.uk/people-affected-by-dementia/funding-opportunities
And for a flavour of the kind of excellent work the Dementia Friendly Communities funding has supported so far, see this report.
